Meyersville Grange #188 was formed in 1909. It is the last Grange left in Morris County and one of only a few in New Jersey.

The National Grange, located in Washington, D.C. was organized in 1867 and the New Jersey Grange in 1872.
Our Meyersville Grange 188 (originally The Passaic Township Grange 188) was granted its charter in 1909. First meetings were held in the building facing the Meyersville Presbyterian Church. In 1926 the present Grange Hall at 500 Meyersville Rd. was built, a team effort on the part of all its members.
Originally. The Grange was a meeting place for farm folk to meet and help one another with farm related problems. They did more than that because some of their many accomplishments were that they were responsible for starting the State Police, rural mail delivery, and many other services we take for granted today. Meetings take place once a month and members look forward to many pleasant social activities such as the popular Soup and Pasta contest, Oktoberfest Dinner, Argyles Fish and Chips Dinner and more. The Grange Hall is also available for rent for parties or other events.
Today, Grangers carry on the traditions started by their founders—to make the Grange a real family fraternity. The Grange benefits people, the community, the state and the nation.

If you would like to help preserve this century old tradition and contribute to its worthy purposes in the future, or want more information, contact the President Irene Schafer at 973-635-1121 or the Vice President Mary Lamson at 732-469-2688. For rental information contact the Secretary Beate Fuller at 908-647-1168.

Soup and Pasta Contest is held the second Friday of each month at 6:30 PM. (October, November, January, February, March). For specific dates look for confirmation in your local paper or the Echoes-Sentinel newspaper.

Admission is $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 12 and under. Admission is free to any entrant who brings a favorite soup or pasta. It is a "Contest" because each person who attends gets to vote for his or her favorite soups, and the five top soup makers receive prizes.

New at the Soup Contest this season is a Flea Market table with various items priced at a few dollars or less! All proceeds help with the upkeep of the Grange Hall.

Sometimes you may be lucky and we’ll have a Square Dance at 8:00 PM after the Soup Contest. Home made desserts, coffee, tea, and other refreshments are available. Old Time Bluegrass Music is provided by the Long Hill String Band, live, for square dancing or just good old time toe tapping listening fun.

The Meyersville Grange is collecting  used computer ink cartridges. Donations of Lexmark, HP, Canon, Dell and Sharp cartridges can be dropped off in the box on the front porch of the Grange  Hall.  Call (732) 469-2688 for more info.

The Antique Market will start again on Sunday November 4th 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM. It runs through March.

You can now find Chef Sherry, from Scarpellino's Restaurant in Warren, NJ., preparing breakfast and lunch at the Meyersville Grange on Sunday for the antique flea market. So come on down and browse the antiques and enjoy some great food and of course Chef Sherry's fabulous soup. My philosophy is to offer excellent, flavorful food prepared with love at a fair price.

Note:  the Antique Market is NOT run by the Meyersville Grange. We only rent the building to the people that run it! Talk to them for more information please!

Our Address is: 500 Meyersville Rd.
